Registered Mental Health Counseling Intern Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Mental Health Counseling Intern to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care to clients with mental health disorders. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in a clinical setting.

Duties:

• Conduct diagnostic evaluations to assess clients' mental health conditions
• Provide clinical counseling and behavioral therapy to individuals and groups
• Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with confidentiality regulations
• Work with patients across various demographics including pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics
• Offer outpatient services and support to individuals in need of mental health assistance

Skills:

• Proficient or willing to ask in diagnostic evaluation techniques
• Knowledge of clinical research methodologies
• Some Experience in providing clinical counseling and behavioral therapy
• Familiarity with pediatric, geriatric, adult, families, couples, and individuals' mental health care practices
• Ability to maintain accurate medical records and coding procedures
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
