Job Description
Caring Therapists, a group private practice in Florida, is looking for part-time child psychotherapists to join our thriving group practice in Port Orange. We are a collaborative group of therapists that work well together in the office. Requirements include being fully licensed as a Psychologist, Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists or Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the State of Florida with 1-year post-independent licensure experience, preferably with private practice, experience and registered with CAQH and willingness to be paneled with insurance companies. Postdoctoral Candidates in Psychology, Registered for Mental Health Counselor Intern, Registered Marriage and Family Therapist Intern, and Registered Clinical Social Worker Intern encouraged to apply. Therapists must have a niche(s) (children, couples, trauma, EMDR, family, etc.) with the availability to work evenings (4pm-8pm). Caring Therapists provides a steady stream of referrals as well. The candidate must be independent, driven, collaborative, and enhance our fun, connected, and a positive-minded group of clinicians. Our office is well-respected in the community, and we are looking for therapists who are passionate about mental health. We will also accept Registered Interns and Postdoctoral Psychology candidates. Willing to work 15 hours per week or more, 30 or more for full time status Minimum 1-year post-independent licensure is a plus Paneled with insurance is a plus Prior private practice experience is a plus Benefits to joining the Caring Therapists team! Strong referral sources Offices available to see clients in person Assistance with scheduling appointments, credentialing and patient balances Caring Therapists completes billing for major commercial healthcare insurers active in Florida Caring Therapists provides access to email services, electronic health records platform, phone/fax services Employer contributes to employee health insurance plans if full time 401K with company contribution Paid training and CEU opportunities Unlimited time off Position Responsibilities Establish positive, trusting rapport with patients Diagnose and treat mental health disorders Create individualized treatment plans according to patient needs and circumstances Meet with patients regularly to provide counseling, evidenced-based treatment, and adjust treatment plans as necessary Conduct ongoing assessments of patient progress Involve and advise family members when appropriate Refer patients to outside specialists or agencies when necessary Maintain thorough records of patient meetings and progress Follow all safety protocols and maintain client confidentiality Maintain proper licenses, certifications and follow professional guidelines, ethical standards Contribute to practice by accomplishing related tasks as needed Collaborate with Caring Therapists administrative staff and management to exceed best practices and grow our organization
