Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a Mental Health Counseling Intern working toward LMHC licensure in the state of Florida. This role is ideal for someone looking to build clinical experience in a nurturing, client-centered setting while receiving high-quality, ongoing supervision from a Licensed Mental Health Counselor.
What You'll Do:
Facilitate psychoeducational and process therapy groups Monday through Thursday from 6:00 PM-8:00 PM . Provide individual counseling sessions as your caseload develops. Complete timely, accurate, and ethical clinical documentation. Participate in supervision, consultation, and team meetings. Collaborate with our clinical team to provide high-quality, evidence-based care. Contribute creative ideas for programming, community outreach, and practice growth. Develop confidence in clinical assessment, treatment planning, and therapeutic interventions.

What We're Looking For:
Master's degree (or currently enrolled) in Mental Health Counseling or a related program Registered or eligible to register as a Mental Health Counseling Intern with the Florida Board of Clinical Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, and Mental Health Counseling Passionate about serving children, adolescents, adults, and families Strong written and verbal communication skills Open to feedback, supervision, and continuous growth. Your Growth Matters:
You'll receive ongoing support and mentorship as you gradually build a sustainable caseload, allowing you to develop confidence and clinical competence without feeling overwhelmed. As with most private practices, client caseloads are built progressively based on referrals and scheduling needs. During this time, interns receive supervision, specialized training, group therapy experience, and mentorship to ensure they continue developing clinically while their caseload grows.

Preferred Experience:
Background in trauma-informed care, CBT, play therapy, and family systems Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
