- Conduct patient assessments to evaluate mental health status and needs.
- Implement treatment plans under the supervision of licensed mental health professionals.
- Provide individual counseling and support for patients dealing with mental health conditions.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation in accordance with ICD-10 guidelines.
- Assist in crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques as needed.
- Monitor patient behavior and report any changes to the healthcare team.
- Engage patients in therapeutic activities that promote emotional well-being. Experience
- Previous experience in a mental health setting is required.
- Familiarity with various therapeutic modalities.
- Knowledge of medical documentation practices and patient assessment techniques is essential.
- A background in working with specific populations, including children is preferred. Education
- Master's Degree in Mental Health Counseling, Social Work, or Marriage and Family Therapy is required.
