Behavioral Services, LLC is seeking a dependable and clinically knowledgeable On-Call Intake Assessor to assist with behavioral health and substance use intake assessments on an as-needed basis. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive mental health and/or substance use intake assessments. Complete biopsychosocial assessments and other required admission documentation. Assess presenting concerns, mental health symptoms, substance use history, risk factors, and treatment needs. Complete initial clinical recommendations and assist with determining appropriate level of care. Complete ASAM assessments when applicable. Identify and document appropriate preliminary diagnoses within the scope of qualifications. Complete documentation accurately and within required agency timelines. Communicate clinical findings and recommendations with the clinical and administrative teams. Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA, agency policies, and applicable regulatory requirements. Be available on an on-call/PRN basis based on client intake needs. Qualifications Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, Human Services, or a related behavioral health field preferred. Experience completing behavioral health, substance use, or biopsychosocial assessments strongly preferred. Knowledge of
DSM-5-TR
diagnostic criteria. Knowledge of ASAM criteria preferred for substance use assessments. Strong clinical interviewing, assessment, documentation, and communication skills. Ability to work independently and complete documentation promptly. Florida behavioral health experience preferred. Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is organized, responsive, clinically confident, and comfortable working with individuals presenting with mental health, substance use, or co-occurring concerns.
Schedule:
PRN/On-Call; hours will vary based on intake needs.
Pay:
$21.00 - $25.00 per hour
