We combine professional counseling and Christian faith to help people heal, connect, and live with purpose . We are growing our clinical team and are seeking a licensed therapist to join our main office. We are currently experiencing strong demand for counseling services for female adolescents and adult women . We are particularly interested in a therapist who enjoys working with these populations. Our practice generally seeks to match preteen and adolescent girls with female therapists when possible, while honoring client and family preferences. The therapist may also work with adults, teens, couples, and families according to clinical experience, interests, and practice needs. Experience or interest in trauma-informed counseling is a plus but is not required. Our Approach At Paraclete, we believe excellent counseling and Christian faith can work together to help people heal, connect, and live with purpose. Our therapists use evidence-based counseling approaches while thoughtfully integrating Christian faith and Biblical principles into counseling when appropriate and consistent with the client's needs and goals. We are looking for a therapist who is comfortable practicing within a Christian counseling environment and who understands the importance of integrating faith and professional clinical practice. Duties & Responsibilities Provide individual, couples, family, and adolescent counseling Develop treatment plans and provide clinically appropriate therapeutic interventions Complete therapy notes and other clinical documentation in a timely manner Prepare discharge plans when appropriate Consult with other professionals within the practice regarding treatment, counseling resources, and clinical techniques Attend regular staff meetings and participate in clinical collaboration Maintain ethical and professional standards applicable to the profession Integrate Christian counseling principles and Biblical perspectives when appropriate Participate in marketing and professional networking activities to promote the therapist's practice and Paraclete Counseling Center Develop and maintain relationships with referral sources Minimum Qualifications Master's degree in counseling, marriage and family therapy, or a related counseling field Current Georgia license as LPC, LAPC, LMFT, or LAMFT Clinical experience appropriate to the populations served Demonstrated understanding of the integration of Christian/Biblical theology and psychological practice Ability to practice effectively within a Christian counseling environment Strong clinical, communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills Commitment to ethical and professional practice Christian Faith & Clinical Practice Christian faith is an integral part of Paraclete Counseling Center's clinical approach. We are seeking a therapist who is comfortable integrating Christian faith and Biblical principles with professional counseling and who can thoughtfully apply both clinical and faith-based perspectives in working with clients. Applicants should be prepared to discuss their experience and philosophy regarding faith-integrated counseling as part of the application process.
