Job Description River Haven Counseling Center, LLC is a growing Christian private practice in McDonough, GA, where children, teens, and families come to find hope, heal, and learn valuable life skills. We are seeking a self-driven, dedicated Clinician (1099 Independent Contractor) who is passionate about working with youth (ages 6-25) and family systems. Why Join River Haven? Focus on
Client Care:

Responsibilities:
Provide high-quality individual or family counseling services. Conduct initial diagnostic intake assessments and develop tailored treatment plans. Build and maintain a consistent client caseload with the full support of our steady referral stream, taking ownership of your scheduling to best suit your lifestyle and client needs. Complete timely progress notes and clinical documentation in compliance with ethical and state standards. Maintain professional, collaborative communication with practice administrative staff and team members.
Requirements:
Education:
Master's degree or higher in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
Licensure:
Must be licensed eligible or hold and maintain an active, unencumbered license (or associate license) in good standing in the state of Georgia (LPC, LCSW, LMFT, LAPC, LMSW, LAMFT, or Licensed Psychologist).
Schedule Availability:
Preference for candidates available for at least 2 evenings per week (after 3 PM) and/or Saturdays to accommodate youth and family schedules.
Experience:
Direct experience working with children, teens, and families.
Insurance:
Must maintain individual professional liability/malpractice insurance.
Location:
Ability to commute to our McDonough, GA office for in-person sessions.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience or training in Play Therapy, Expressive Arts Therapy, Behavioral Interventions, Family Therapy, Marriage Counseling and/or Trauma-Informed Care.
