The Position We are looking for a Mental Health Therapist to be responsible for counseling individuals, teens, and couples , addressing concerns around relationships, gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, sexual exploration, and overall sexual health. Our agency also provides general mental health counseling for marginalized community members who want space to discuss their identity in a way that recognizes it as a source of strength and resilience — not as a problem to be fixed. We value affirming, inclusive care that integrates identity into the therapeutic process as part of healing and growth. The interested therapist should be comfortable discussing and working with clients around various topics of gender, sex, and sexuality, and have a willingness and desire to further pursue certification in the field (AASECT). Job Responsibilities Provide mental health treatment for a diverse population , mainly focused on sexuality and gender issues Conduct intake assessments and provide clinical diagnoses using

criteria Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with legal, ethical, and organizational standards Maintain clear, timely communication with clients, including responding to emails and phone calls Participate in regular supervision and meetings to support clinical development and ethical practice Stay current with continuing education and licensure requirements per state regulations Maintain a caseload of at least 28 client hours per week

Requirements:

Master's degree in a human services field: social work, counseling, psychology, or marriage and family therapy Licensed as LMSW, LCSW, LMAFT, LMFT, LPC, LCPC, or PhD New graduates are encouraged to apply!
