About the
Center :
The Comprehensive Behavioral Health Center of St. Clair County is located in East St. Louis, IL. The Center has been in operation since 1957 serving the needs of children, adolescents, and adults. Our mission is to provide quality individualized essential services for people in need of emotional, rehabilitative and social support. We strive to be the top-ranking Community Behavioral Health Center within its size, population and category within the State of Illinois.
Overview :
This is an opportunity for a clinically licensed therapist to provide telehealth services to clients.
Key Duties:
  • Provide high-quality service to a community of great need using evidence-based practices.
  • Assess and diagnose psychological, behavioral and emotional disorders.
  • Assess clients using IM+CANS to recommend clients to the proper level of care.
  • Determine a client's appropriateness for services using the DSM-V.
  • Identify co-occurring disorders.
  • Develop and put treatment plans in place.
  • Ensure that third-party billing is filed timely and accurately.
  • Maintain a confidential, accurate, organized, and updated case file for each assigned client.
  • Adhere to the Counselor's Code of Ethics and demonstrate a positive attitude regarding trauma informed care.
Extra Opportunity:
  • Ensure that staff under clinical supervision complete screenings, assessments, treatment plans and other necessary clinical documentation in accordance with agency and practice guidelines.
  • Provide oversight and certification of medical necessity of treatment plans.
Report to:
Director of Behavioral Health Education and Experience:
  • Master's degree in behavioral health (i.e. social work, counseling, psychology) and hold an Illinois license as a LCSW.
  • Alternatively, a LCPC would meet our requirements.
Shift:
Day/In person
Pay:
$60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
