Job Summary:
As a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) you'll play a crucial role providing mental health services to individuals, couples, families, and groups. Your responsibilities will include doing assessments, creating treatment plans, and helping client's address their emotional and psychological needs.
Responsibilities:
Conducting comprehensive assessments to identify client mental health needs Developing personalized treatment plans Providing individual, group, and family therapy Offering crisis intervention support to clients in need Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic care for clients Maintaining accurate and up-to-date client records in compliance with ethical and legal standards Participating in ongoing professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge Adhering to guidelines and standards set forth by licensing boards
Experience:
Previous experience working with children in a counseling or therapy setting Proficiency in coding and documenting patient interactions Skilled in conducting group therapy sessions Knowledge of behavioral health practices and interventions
Requirements:
Master's degree in Counseling or related field Licensure as a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in Illinois Minimum 2 years of experience providing counseling services in a clinical setting Strong communication and interpersonal skills Empathy, compassion, and a non-judgmental attitude towards clients Ability to work effectively with diverse populations Knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic techniques and interventions Commitment to ongoing professional growth and development

$83,820.00 - $122,237.00 per year
