Job Description
If you're a licensed counselor looking for an opportunity where you can focus on clinical work, build strong relationships with clients, and be part of a smaller, supportive treatment team, we'd love to talk with you. Tara Treatment Center is seeking a full-time Licensed Outpatient Counselor to join our outpatient treatment program in Franklin, Indiana. This position is primarily focused on facilitating group therapy, with some individual counseling as needed. Our outpatient program serves individuals working toward recovery from substance use disorders, and we're looking for a counselor who can connect with clients and provide high-quality, compassionate clinical care. What You'll Do Facilitate outpatient therapy groups Provide individual counseling as needed Complete assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and other required clinical documentation Work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team Help clients develop practical skills and strategies that support long-term recovery What We're Looking For Candidates must hold a current Indiana license or associate license in an applicable behavioral health discipline, including: LCSW or LSW LMHC or LMHCA LCAC or LCACA Experience working in substance use disorder treatment is preferred, but it is not required. We welcome strong counselors from other areas of behavioral health who are interested in bringing their clinical skills to the addiction treatment field.
