Completes clinical documentation and paperwork. Job Summary The Clinician provides direct mental health and addiction services to individuals, families, and/or groups, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and ongoing therapeutic intervention. This role utilizes evidence-based practices to support clients in achieving their treatment goals, improving functioning, and enhancing overall well-being. The Clinician maintains accurate and timely clinical documentation, collaborates with multidisciplinary team members, and ensures compliance with ethical standards, payer requirements, and regulatory guidelines. Strong clinical judgment, effective communication, and a commitment to culturally responsive, client-centered care are essential. Qualifications Master Degrees in the area Behavioral Health

(Temporary licenses are accepted) required Responsibilities Facilitates individual, family and group therapy sessions Completes biopsychosocial intake assessments Formulates and monitors treatment plans Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), trauma-informed care, or other appropriate modalities. Completes and keeps all assessments up to date Meet utilization standards for scheduling and client service hours Utilizes phone, mail, fax, and e-mail for purposes of communication Communicates with counselors, clinicians, and other staff to gather and report pertinent information Communicates with referral sources about client progress Maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with ethical and legal standards Helps ensure work areas are clean and clutter free Other duties as assigned

Knowledge:

In-depth understanding of psychological theories, counseling techniques, and therapeutic modalities Knowledge of mental health disorders, diagnoses, and treatment planning. Familiarity with ethical and legal guidelines for mental health practice, including HIPAA and confidentiality laws. Understanding of crisis intervention strategies and risk assessment. Knowledge of community resources and referral processes for additional client support.

Skills:

Strong assessment and diagnostic skills to identify mental health needs and create treatment plans. Effective verbal and written communication skills for client interactions and documentation. Active listening and empathy to foster trust and rapport with clients. Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities to tailor interventions to individual client needs.
