LPC / LCSW

ICE Detention Facility Location:
Leavenworth, KS Pay:

$68

  • 70/hour, based on experience Care Career is seeking an experienced Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) for an assignment at an ICE detention facility in Leavenworth, Kansas.

The clinician will provide behavioral health services within a secure correctional/detention environment, including mental health assessments, individual counseling, crisis intervention, treatment planning, documentation, and coordination with the interdisciplinary healthcare team.

Requirements:
  • Active Kansas LPC or LCSW license in good standing
  • Must be a U.S. citizen
  • Must reside 70+ miles from the facility to qualify for the assignment
  • Must successfully complete the required federal/ICE background screening
  • Must successfully complete a credit check
  • Ability to meet all facility credentialing and security-clearance requirements
  • Previous behavioral health, corrections, detention, crisis, or high-acuity mental health experience preferred
  • Strong assessment, documentation, communication, and crisis-intervention skills
Assignment Details:
  • $68•70/hour based on experience•ICE detention setting•Leavenworth, Kansas•Assignment contingent upon successful credentialing, background investigation, credit screening, and facility clearance Candidates should be comfortable working with a diverse population in a structured, secure environment and collaborating closely with medical, behavioral health, and facility staff.
