Possession of a current Louisiana license to practice as a Provisional Licensed Professional Counselor (PLPC) or a Provisional Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (PLMFT). Job Duties:
As a Professional Counselor 1-4, the incumbent will: Provide advanced clinical services through individual, family and/or group counseling to a complex caseload of behavioral health clients. Prepare person-centered plans for clients based on recommended levels of care. Provide both written and verbal consultation to other agencies. Assist the clinic manager in designing and implementing programs that address community needs.

The actual starting salary depends on the selected applicant's education and experience. Career Progression Group (CPG): This position participates in a CPG and may be filled as a Professional Counselor 1, 2, 3, or 4 level, at which the vacancy is filled will be determined by the qualifications of the candidate selected.
