Description Summary:
Provides patients of the
CHRISTUS
with a Mental Health Evaluation. Provides patients and families of
CHRISTUS
with supportive group activities and individual and/or family counseling as appropriate. Provides consultation with
CHRISTUS
professionals, medical staff, and other relevant individuals as necessary.
Responsibilities:

Hospital with individual and/or family counseling as appropriate Provides patients of
CHRISTUS
Hospital with a Mental Health Evaluation, including appropriate assessments, with report Provides patients and families of
CHRISTUS
Hospital with supportive group activities Provides consultation with
CHRISTUS
Hospital professionals, medical staff, and other relevant individuals as necessary Participates in program development by providing ideas and research on selected topics Strictly adheres to the legal and ethical professional standards Participate in professional seminars, conferences, and workshops in an effort to remain aware of current trends and issues related to counseling and sub-specialty Utilize assessment data to ascertain psychosocial risk factors and develop individualized treatment plans for each patient. Responsible for implementing clinical interventions that promote, maintain, or restore mental health, effect rehabilitation and facilitate developmental progression. Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Education/Skills Master's degree required Experience Minimum of three years' experience Licenses, Registrations, or Certifications Current LPC in state of employment
BLS Work Schedule:
8AM - 5
PM Monday-Friday Work Type:
Per Diem As Needed
