Care documentation Clinical assessment documentation Healthcare treatment Providing care for clients Managing patient records Liability insurance Psychotherapy Full Job Description We are an established, growing private practice with a strong reputation in our community, an established referral network, and the infrastructure to support clinicians so they can focus on what they do best: providing excellent counseling to their clients. We are looking for a Louisiana-licensed counselor who wants the benefits of private practice without having to build a private practice from the ground up. At Acadian Counseling Center, you are the therapist. Our administrative team handles the business side of the practice so you can concentrate on clinical care. Why Acadian Counseling Center? When you join ACC, you aren't starting from zero. You benefit from an established practice that has been serving the Acadiana community since 2012 , including: An established reputation and referral base Private, professional office space Individual provider marketing and website presence Administrative and front-office support Credentialing assistance Medical billing and insurance support Electronic medical records through SimplePractice A steady stream of referral opportunities Opportunities to collaborate with other clinicians A professional, supportive clinical environment The freedom to create your own schedule No need to manage the business side of private practice Your focus is counseling. Ours is supporting you.
Our goal is simple:
we want you to be a therapist—not a receptionist, biller, marketer, credentialing specialist, or office manager. You will have the autonomy to manage your clinical schedule while having the support and infrastructure of an established practice behind you. You will be responsible for providing high-quality clinical services, maintaining appropriate clinical documentation, developing treatment plans, monitoring client progress, maintaining professional and ethical standards, and coordinating care when clinically appropriate. You will not be responsible for the administrative workload that comes with building and running a private practice. What we're looking for We are seeking an experienced, professional clinician who is committed to providing quality mental health services and values both clinical independence and professional collaboration.
Required:
Current Louisiana LPC, LCSW, or Psychologist license Ability to practice independently within your scope of licensure Professional liability insurance Strong clinical and documentation skills Commitment to ethical, HIPAA-compliant care Ability to maintain a minimum of 15 client hours per week Experience is preferred. Why start over when you can join something established? There is a big difference between opening a practice and joining one that has already been built. Acadian Counseling Center has been part of the Acadiana community since 2012. Our reputation, systems, referral relationships, administrative infrastructure, and professional environment are already in place. You bring your clinical expertise. We provide the structure and support that allows you to use it. If you're ready to grow your counseling career with an established private practice, we'd love to hear from you. Join Acadian Counseling Center — established in Acadiana since 2012.
