We're looking for enthusiastic LCSWs and LPCs to join a team dedicated to providing quality care in a collaborative, integrative healthcare setting. We currently have openings for clinicians specializing in Substance Use Disorders (SUD) and clinicians specializing in Children and Adolescents . This position is located in Marrero. It requires no on-call, evening, or weekend work and offers a generous benefits package. JeffCare, a program of Jefferson Parish Human Services Authority, is a Federally Qualified Health Center with two sites in Metairie and Marrero. Great retirement options Student loan debt repayment: May qualify for Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) or other programs for student loan debt Continuing education opportunities Free, nearby parking Filtered water stations Responsibilities Complete assessments, treatment plans, and service plan reviews/revisions Provide group and individual counseling in compliance with JeffCare-endorsed, evidence-based practices Offer internal and external referrals to meet service recipients' needs Perform crisis assessment and intervention Consult with teachers, probation officers, school social workers, recovery supports, and others as needed Record documentation in electronic health record, Level of Care Utilization System, etc. Participate in weekly treatment team staffing, group chart reviews, and supervision Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team that includes primary care providers Focus on improving health outcomes by using best practices, ingenuity, and strong analytical skills Qualifications & Skills LCSW or LPC licensure required Experience treating individuals with substance use disorders and/or experience treating children and adolescents required Experience facilitating individual, family, and/or group therapy preferred Outstanding interpersonal skills High ethical standards and personal integrity Compassion and concern for positive outcomes for patients Positive, collaborative, "can-do" attitude Ability to work with others in a culturally competent way and consistently treat community members and coworkers with patience, empathy, dignity, and respect Great time management and organizational skills Knowledge of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and other evidence-based practices is a plus Two or more years of experience in a psychotherapy setting preferred Bilingual a plus, but not required Contact Put your skills to work for the greater good AND love your work.
