Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our dynamic mental health team. In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive clinical services to diverse populations, including children, adolescents, and adults. Your expertise will help individuals navigate mental health challenges, co-occurring disorders, trauma, and developmental disabilities through evidence-based practices. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a supportive environment that values professional growth and patient-centered care. Duties Conduct thorough mental health assessments, including diagnostic evaluations utilizing ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding standards, to determine client needs and develop personalized treatment plans. Provide individual, group, family, and child/youth therapy sessions using modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, trauma-focused therapy, art therapy, dance/movement therapy, and behavioral therapy. Implement crisis intervention strategies to manage urgent situations effectively while ensuring client safety and well-being. Utilize telehealth platforms to deliver clinical counseling services remotely, maintaining compliance with HIPAA regulations and clinical documentation standards. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care plans for clients with co-occurring disorders, developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder (ASD), or chronic pain conditions. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in electronic health records (EHR/EMR) systems following HIPAA guidelines and clinical ethical standards. Engage in case management activities such as patient care coordination, treatment planning updates, and research to stay current with evidence-based practices in behavioral health. Qualifications Valid licensure as an LPC, LCSW, or LMFT with active certification from a recognized licensing board. Proven experience working with children, adolescents, or individuals with developmental disabilities; experience in pediatrics or geriatrics is a plus. Strong skills in psychotherapy techniques including motivational interviewing, grief counseling, addiction counseling, trauma-focused therapy, and social work practices. Familiarity with ICD coding systems (ICD-9/ICD-10), CPT coding for billing purposes, and medical terminology relevant to mental health care. Experience working with telehealth platforms and understanding of clinical documentation standards for remote services. Ability to handle crisis situations effectively through crisis management skills and behavior management strategies. Knowledge of special education needs and experience working within inpatient or outpatient settings is desirable. Excellent communication skills for client engagement and collaboration within multidisciplinary teams; proficiency in clinical research methods is advantageous.
