Job Summary Hands of Hope Behavioral Health, LLC is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Mental Health Professional to provide comprehensive mental health services within our clinical setting. The ideal candidate will deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions, conduct comprehensive diagnostic and individualized assessments, and develop person-centered treatment plans tailored to the unique needs of diverse client populations. Responsibilities Conduct thorough client assessments, including intake interviews and diagnostic evaluations utilizing ICD-9, ICD-10, and CPT coding standards. Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions utilizing modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, art therapy, dance therapy, and applied behavior analysis. Implement crisis intervention strategies and crisis management protocols to ensure patient safety. Deliver specialized counseling services for populations including children, adolescents, geriatrics, individuals with developmental disabilities or autism, and those experiencing PTSD or grief. Manage case documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain accurate medical records and notes using appropriate medical terminology. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care plans and facilitate referrals as needed. Engage in clinical research activities or data collection projects aimed at improving treatment outcomes. Participate in telehealth sessions to expand access to mental health services remotely. Stay current with advancements in mental health practices and ICD coding updates to ensure high-quality care delivery. Requirements Valid Louisiana licensure as a Mental Health Professional (LPC, LCSW, LMFT, PLC, LMSW, CSW, and R-CSW). Proven experience in psychotherapy, crisis management, addiction counseling, behavioral therapy, and social work. Strong knowledge of medical documentation standards, medical terminology, ICD-9/ICD-10 coding, CPT coding, and HIPAA compliance. Experience working with diverse populations including children, adolescents, adults with disabilities or chronic conditions such as autism or Geriatrics. Proficiency in clinical counseling techniques such as motivational interviewing, grief counseling, psychopharmacology coordination (if applicable), and gender issues counseling. Familiarity with telehealth platforms and remote patient engagement tools. Ability to handle sensitive situations with professionalism and empathy while maintaining confidentiality. Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration within multidisciplinary teams and with patients from varied backgrounds.
