Support children and families involved in child protective services by advocating for their rights and coordinating necessary resources. Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver holistic social services that address behavioral health, childcare, and family dynamics. Maintain detailed documentation of client interactions, service plans, and progress notes using Microsoft Office tools for accurate record-keeping. Facilitate communication between clients and service providers while supporting working with culturally diverse communities through bilingual assistance when needed. Implement conflict management strategies to resolve disputes within families or high-risk environments while promoting positive behavioral health outcomes. Stay current on best practices in social work, child & family services, and legal frameworks related to family law to provide informed support. Experience Proven experience working with children, families, or high-risk populations in social services or related fields. Demonstrated expertise in child protective services, child welfare, or working with individuals with disabilities. Strong background in crisis intervention and crisis management techniques within social work settings. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications for documentation and reporting purposes. Certification in CPR and First Aid is required; additional certifications in social work or behavioral health are advantageous. Bilingual abilities are highly preferred to effectively serve diverse communities. Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal—are essential for client interaction and team collaboration.
