Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Licensed Clinical Therapist to join our dynamic mental health team. In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive psychotherapy and clinical support to diverse populations, including children, adolescents, and adults. Your expertise will help clients navigate complex emotional, behavioral, and psychological challenges through evidence-based practices and compassionate care. You will play a key role in developing personalized treatment plans, conducting mental health assessments, and delivering innovative therapeutic interventions across various settings, including outpatient clinics, inpatient facilities, and via telehealth platforms. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in clients' lives while working within a collaborative and supportive environment. Responsibilities Conduct thorough mental health assessments and diagnostic evaluations utilizing ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding standards to inform treatment planning. Deliver individual, group, family, and youth therapy sessions employing evidence-based practices such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), trauma-focused therapy, psychodynamic therapy, art therapy, dance therapy, and applied behavior analysis (ABA). Implement crisis intervention strategies to manage urgent situations effectively while ensuring client safety and well-being. Develop comprehensive treatment plans aligned with clinical documentation standards and HIPAA regulations to ensure quality patient care. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including social workers, case managers, medical professionals, educators, and families to support holistic client outcomes. Maintain accurate medical records and documentation using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) or Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems in compliance with clinical ethical guidelines. Provide specialized counseling for clients with co-occurring disorders such as addiction or developmental disabilities while incorporating trauma-informed care approaches. Utilize telehealth therapy platforms to expand access to mental health services for remote clients across diverse populations. Skills Extensive experience in psychotherapy techniques including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, trauma-focused therapy, grief counseling, addiction counseling, and behavior management. Proficiency in conducting mental health assessments using
ICD-9/ICD-10
coding systems and documenting medical terminology accurately. Strong skills in crisis management and crisis intervention strategies for individuals experiencing acute emotional distress or trauma-related episodes. Ability to work effectively with children, adolescents, adults, geriatrics, and individuals with disabilities or developmental disorders such as autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Experience providing child & family counseling within pediatric or outpatient settings; familiarity with special education needs is a plus. Knowledge of clinical documentation standards including treatment planning, progress notes, CPT coding for billing purposes, and compliance with HIPAA privacy regulations. Competence in delivering telehealth services with familiarity of EMR/EHR systems for seamless client record management. Excellent communication skills for client engagement and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams; sensitivity to gender issues counseling when appropriate. Ability to adapt therapeutic approaches based on individual client needs while maintaining fidelity to evidence-based practices. $35.00 - $60.00 per hour Expected hours: 5.0 - 40.0 per week
