Job Description

As part of our mission to pave the way for children's success worldwide, Therapy Source is currently seeking a Certified School Counselor, Licensed Clinical Social Worker or Licensed Professional Counselor to provide in-person services for special education school students. This position is for the upcoming school year.
Social Worker Position Details:
Part-Time (2.5 hours per week with room for growth) Flexible Schedule Small elementary caseload Requires one of the following licensures and experience working within the school setting as well as understanding of IEP and 504 plans (
Approved Licensures:
LGSW, LCSW, LICSW, LPC
)
Social Worker Qualifications:
Licensure as a Social Worker or Counselor in Maryland (please note that we cannot accept LGSW, LMSW, or LGPC licensure) Possession of (or willingness to obtain) up-to-date clearances Proof of individual professional liability insurance (or willingness to obtain)
Social Worker Responsibilities May Include:
Providing Behavioral Support Services Driving student achievement for students with disabilities Responding to progress monitoring results and student assessment data Providing support to students, parents, and general education staff and supporting student learning Mentoring and coaching students on self-regulation and organizational skills Developing effective IEPs that translate into measurable results for students Handling Medicare reimbursements Enjoy scheduling flexibility, impressive hourly rates, and amazing support from our dedicated account team!
