Job Description
We All Need Help Sometimes is opening an Intensive Outpatient (IOP) service for adults experiencing co-occurring substance use disorders. We are committed to delivering compassionate, evidence-based care in a collaborative and supportive clinical environment. We focus on helping individuals build long-term stability, resilience, and recovery. Position Summary We are seeking a few regularly scheduled & per diem clinical staff to join our new intensive outpatient program as an independent contractor. This is an ideal role for a clinician who enjoys providing both individual, group therapy, working independently & within a group. The Clinical staff will manage a caseload of clients, complete intakes, facilitate groups, participate in individual sessions, coordinate treatment planning, document daily all interaction with clients in our EHR before leaving for the day, participate in meetings to navigate the day, staff meetings, supervision, and works collaborate and closely with the agency nurse and clinical team. Qualifications
LCSW, LCPC, LMFT, LADC
Active Maine license required, in good standing with licensing board, be able to pass theAPS, CPS, & MBCC
background /finger print checks Documented qualifications of trainings, education, relevant experience Experience in behavioral health, / IOP settings preferred Experience facilitating therapeutic groups Strong clinical documentation and assessment skills Trained in ASAM 4 Have access to supervision, directly or through independent contractor Resume, references, professional recommendations Active Insurance Responsibilities- Provide individual therapy, case management for an assigned caseload Facilitate therapeutic group sessions within IOP programming Complete comprehensive assessments and diagnostic evaluations Develop and maintain individualized treatment plans Coordinate discharge planning and aftercare referrals Maintain accurate records & daily clinical documentation of notes in our EHR Collaborate with Medical Staff providers and the team Participate in treatment team meetings and clinical case reviews Assist with admissions, intakes, and utilization review • Involvement of affected others; and planning for and referral to further treatment, as needed.
- Participate in supervision according to State of Maine guidelines
- Responsible for maintain licensure trainings and providing administrative staff with copies of all trainings, sharing knowledge learn at trainings with other staff Communicate with referral sources, families, and outside providers as clinically appropriate
- Completed one (1) year clinical experience in substance abuse treatment and a minimum of sixty (60) hours of alcohol and drug education within the last five (5) years.
- Training & Education approved by the Me. State Licensing Board of Alcohol & Drug Counselors
