Full Job Description Adult Outpatient Mental Health Supervisor Location:
Southgate, MI Schedule:
37.5 hours/week | Monday-Friday with flexible scheduling
Pay:
$35-$48/ hour, based on licensure and experience Position Overview The Adult Outpatient Mental Health Supervisor will oversee the clinical and administrative operations of an adult outpatient mental health program. This role provides clinical leadership, supports staff, ensures quality client care, and helps coordinate services with community resources. Key Responsibilities Supervise and support clinical program operations and staff. Provide oversight of individual, family, and group mental health/substance use treatment. Support crisis management and after-hours clinical needs as required. Collaborate with clients, staff, and community partners. Ensure culturally responsive, client-centered care. Maintain strong documentation, organization, and program data. Promote effective teamwork and high-quality behavioral health services. Required Qualifications Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or Counseling. Active, full Michigan licensure: LMSW, LPC, or LLP. 3+ years of experience treating adults with mental health and/or substance use disorders. Experience with individual, family, and group therapy. Strong communication, organizational, and crisis-management skills. Community mental health experience and knowledge of community resources are highly preferred .
