  • Full License Required Position Overview Seeking an experienced Adult Outpatient Mental Health Supervisor to oversee the administrative and clinical functioning of the program.
This role provides leadership for the delivery of behavioral health services while supporting clients, staff, and the broader community. The ideal candidate will have a master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or Counseling , active Michigan professional licensure, and at least three years of experience treating adults with mental health and/or substance use disorders. Key Responsibilities Oversee the administrative and clinical functioning of the adult outpatient program. Support the delivery of quality mental health and substance use services. Provide clinical guidance and leadership to program staff. Demonstrate competence in individual, family, and group treatment. Support crisis intervention and appropriately respond to crisis situations. Collaborate with clients, staff, community organizations, and other service providers. Utilize community resources to support client needs. Maintain accurate documentation, data, and program information. Work independently while contributing effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team. Provide after-hours coverage for crisis calls as needed. Perform additional responsibilities based on program needs. Required Qualifications Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field. Full, active Michigan professional license: LMSW, LPC, or LLP. Minimum 3 years of experience treating adults with mental health and/or substance use disorders. Demonstrated experience providing individual, family, and group mental health and/or substance abuse treatment. Strong crisis-management skills. Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. Strong organizational and attention-to-detail skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively. Cultural competence and a nonjudgmental approach to working with diverse populations. Must be authorized to work in the U.S.; visa sponsorship is not available . Preferred Qualifications Experience working in a community mental health setting . Knowledge of community resources. Experience with behavioral health program administration and clinical supervision.
Schedule Monday-Thursday:
8:30 AM-7:00
PM Friday:
8:30 AM-5:00 PM 37.5 required hours per week Flexible scheduling available Some evening and/or weekend hours may be required based on program needs After-hours crisis call coverage required as needed Compensation & Benefits $35.60

17 per hour Salary is based on licensing and experience. Salary is grant-funded and not negotiable . Mileage reimbursement when using a personal vehicle at the IRS standard rate.
