Position Overview:
As a (Crisis Respite)-Residential Counselor-you are responsible for the overall operations of the group homes during your shift, ensuring that all aspects of the Care/Support Plan are carried out to the highest standards. You are responsible for the safety, well-being, and progress of the clients goals. This includes assisting the Person Served and ensuring that they are continuing to work towards achieving their goals outlines in their Individual Support Plan.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Safety & Well-Being:
Oversee the daily operations of the group homes, ensuring the safety, health, and well-being of clients with high-level behaviors. Respond to emergency situations and incidents promptly, ensuring proper care and resolution.
Compliance & Documentation:
Ensure that the group home complies with all state, federal, and company regulations. Maintain accurate and timely documentation related to client progress, incidents, staff performance, and other essential records.
Program Improvement:
Regularly assess the effectiveness of the program and implement strategies to improve care, safety, and operational efficiency based on feedback from staff, clients, and other stakeholders.
Required Qualifications:
2 Year Degree-(Associates) or Higher. Minimum of 2- 4 years experience in Crisis Intervention and/or Residential Behavioral Health Settings. Proven experience in working with clients with high-level behavioral needs. Strong understanding of Behavior Management techniques, Crisis Intervention, and Therapeutic and De-Escalation Techniques and Approaches. Strong Communication, Organization, Time-Management, and Interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Associate's Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Healthcare Management, or a related field. Valid First Aid/CPR/AED Certification. Why Join Us? Pay:
$21.00 - $24.00 per hour
