This flexible position provides a combination of in-home and virtual therapy , along with supportive case management services. The position is based out of our Bridgeton, Missouri location. What You'll Do As a Licensed Therapist with MBCH, you will have the opportunity to: Provide individual, family, and group therapy to community-based clients. Complete therapeutic assessments and develop individualized treatment plans . Prepare treatment progress reports for court hearings, family support meetings, and other professional team meetings . Facilitate the initiation and coordination of therapeutic services. Provide ongoing crisis intervention, support, and stabilization when needed. Connect children and families with appropriate community resources and referrals . Collaborate with caseworkers, parents, caregivers, school officials, and other members of the treatment team . Support MBCH's trauma-informed model, including Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI®) principles. Provide supportive case management to help children and families achieve positive and lasting outcomes.
Qualified candidates should have:
A Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a closely related field . Current LPC or LCSW licensure , or eligibility for licensure in the State of Missouri. At least 1 year of relevant counseling experience . Successful experience working with high-risk children and adolescents . Strong communication, assessment, documentation, and relationship-building skills. Preferred Experience Training or experience in the following areas is highly valued: Trauma-informed counseling Children and adolescent therapy Family therapy Behavior management Crisis intervention Community-based mental health services
