SCHOOL-BASED THERAPIST
Mark Twain Behavioral Health (MTBH) is a private not-for-profit Certified Community Behavioral Health Organization serving Northeast Missouri since 1975 with a wide variety of outpatient services. We strive to treat the whole person by promoting wellness as individuals work toward their personal goals of achieving a satisfying, productive and healthy lifestyle. Mark Twain Behavioral Health is seeking a full-time School-Based Therapist for our Northeast Missouri service area - CLARK County. Role Responsibilities Provide individual, family, and group therapy to youth and their families in a school-based setting - therapy may consist of crisis screening and brief solution-focused psychotherapy Maintain clinical record according to certification standards Provide consultation and education services to local schools and resource officers Participate in clinical supervision, clinical case staff meetings, in-service training, and school-based meetings as requested Establish and maintain appropriate relationships with local schools Participate in student-of-concern meetings and with the Behavioral Health Risk Assessment Teams in your district Complete daily schedule and check alerts in CareLogic in timely manner Participate in quality improvement reviews as requested Maintain a professional code of ethics at all times Adherence to the MTBH Ethical Code of Conduct and all policies is required.
