Posting Details Position Information Position Title Counselor Job Description Missouri Western State University is seeking qualified candidates for a full-time Counselor position. Counselors will work to provide mental health services for university students. Specific duties will include carrying a regular caseload (up to 6 appointments daily), conducting mental health assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, leading individual and group therapy sessions, crisis management duties, running preventive mental health wellness classes and/or workshops and making treatment referrals. Additionally, while maintaining a high level of professionalism, counselors will be expected to be active within the university division of student affairs and provide appropriate services and support.
