Duties Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and diagnostic evaluations and treatment planning. Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions incorporating evidence-based practices such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), DBT, trauma-focused therapy, psychodynamic therapy, and behavioral therapy. Utilize motivational interviewing techniques to foster client engagement and promote positive behavioral change. Work in outpatient setting doing 1-1 and group therapy and notes. Manage crisis situations effectively through crisis intervention strategies, crisis management protocols, and trauma-informed care to ensure client safety. Maintain accurate clinical documentation adhering to HIPAA regulations, medical documentation standards, and EMR/EHR systems for seamless record keeping. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on treatment planning, case management, and coordination of care for clients with co-occurring disorders or complex needs. Qualifications Current provisional licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or equivalent credential; eligible for full licensure within the state's timeline. Experience working with children, adolescents, or individuals with developmental disabilities is highly preferred. Strong knowledge of psychotherapeutic modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), DBT, etc Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage clients effectively across diverse populations including pediatrics and geriatrics. Knowledge of crisis management procedures, trauma-focused interventions, addiction counseling techniques, and gender issues counseling is a plus.
