Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Licensed Independent Mental Health Practitioner (LIMHP) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our dedicated team serving post-acute and long-term care settings in West Plains-Cabool area. In this vital role, you will deliver comprehensive mental health services, including psychotherapy, crisis intervention, and behavioral health support, to diverse patient populations. Your expertise will help improve patient outcomes through evidence-based practices, trauma-focused therapy, and holistic treatment planning. Duties Conduct thorough mental health assessments, including diagnostic evaluations utilizing ICD-10 and ICD-9 coding standards, to determine patient needs and treatment plans. Provide individual, group, and family counseling sessions employing evidence-based practices such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, trauma-focused therapy, and behavioral therapy. Deliver specialized interventions for clients with co-occurring disorders, developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, PTSD, addiction issues, and gender-related concerns. Facilitate crisis management by implementing de-escalation techniques, crisis intervention strategies, and safety planning to ensure patient well-being. Develop comprehensive treatment plans aligned with clinical documentation standards and medical records protocols within Electronic Medical Records (EMR/EHR) systems. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate case management services and ensure continuity of care across inpatient, outpatient, telehealth, and community settings. Engage in clinical research and data collection efforts to support quality improvement initiatives and evidence-based practice advancements. Qualifications Valid licensure as an LIMHP or LCSW with current certification to practice independently in the designated state. Proven experience in mental health counseling within hospital or outpatient environments; experience working with children, geriatrics, or individuals with disabilities is highly preferred. Strong knowledge of mental health assessments, ICD coding (ICD-10/ICD-9), treatment planning, and clinical documentation standards. Proficiency in delivering psychotherapy modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, trauma-focused therapy, art therapy, dance/movement therapy or applied behavior analysis (ABA). Excellent communication skills for client engagement, client communication documentation, and interdisciplinary collaboration. Ability to manage crisis situations effectively using crisis intervention techniques and behavior management strategies. Familiarity with telehealth platforms and experience providing telehealth therapy is desirable. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations, clinical ethical guidelines, medical terminology related to mental health conditions, and experience working with individuals with co-occurring disorders or developmental disabilities is essential.
