Pine Belt Mental Healthcare Resources is actively seeking a caring and diligent Residential Crisis Clinician to provide counseling services at our Harrison County Diversion Center located in Gulfport , MS . The Residential Crisis Clinician position plays a vital role in PBMHR's ability to provide crisis counseling services to adults with a serious mental illness diagnosis. This position is Monday - Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Previous experience in a residential setting and/or with SMI diagnoses preferred. Requirements:

Master's degree in behavioral health field required Clinical license preferred Must be able to obtain Clinical license or DMH Therapist certification within 90 days of hire Must have valid driver's license with satisfactory driving record Excellent communication skills required Behavioral health internship required Independent work ability Excellent communication skills required

Responsibilities:

Asks appropriate questions as required by the clinical intake documentation, to elicit information. Assists consumer in establishing realistic therapeutic goals appropriate to the problems presented. Participates in team staffings and functions as a member of the interdisciplinary treatment team. Provides clinical therapy services and emergency services to consumers and their families. Provides written record of consumer's progress through the therapeutic process. Uses information obtained in clinical observations to suggest diagnosis and severity of condition.
