We are looking for a FT or PT therapist who enjoys working with youth. Joshua Tree Health runs Intensive Outpatient & Partial Hospitalization Program (IOP & PHP) and for teens (13-17) and preteens (10-12). We are hiring Licensed Therapists to carry clinical work in those programs: individual and family sessions, diagnostic assessments, and the treatment planning. Our clients come to us several days a week, in small groups, in a stage of life where the family system is part of the treatment. What you'll do Provide individual and family sessions alongside the group curriculum — family involvement is a core part of adolescent care. Therapy grounded in DBT, CBT, ACT and other evidence based practices. Conduct diagnostic assessments and intakes, and build treatment plans.
Manage risk and crisis:
assessment, safety planning, and coordination of a higher level of care when clinically indicated. Document in Ritten (our EHR) accurately and on time — medical necessity, progress toward goals, and the level-of-care justification that keeps care authorized. Coordinate with the treatment team, psychiatric/med-management providers, schools, referring providers, and utilization review. Participate in supervision and case consultation What we're looking for Active North Carolina licensure —
LCMHC, LCSW, LMFT.
Associate-level licensure (LCMHCA, LCSWA, LMFTA) considered with supervision. Experience with adolescents and children, ideally in a structured level of care (IOP, PHP, residential, or school-based). Preferred experience with DBT Schedule and setting In-person at our Apex clinic. IOP groups run in the afternoon/evening; PHP runs during the day. Full-time and part-time both available.
Pay:
$58,000.00 - $75,000.00 per hour Expected hours: 5.0 - 40.0 per week
