Deliver individual and group counseling sessions utilizing evidence-based practices such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), attachment-based therapy, trauma-informed care, and applied behavior analysis (ABA). Implement crisis management strategies and crisis intervention techniques to ensure student safety during emergencies. Collaborate with educators, families, and case managers to develop personalized treatment plans that support student success and well-being. Maintain accurate clinical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations and medical documentation standards using social work documentation tools. Provide specialized services for students with developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder (ASD), or other special education needs. Engage in case management activities including progress tracking, data collection, and follow-up to monitor treatment effectiveness. Requirements Bachelor's or master's degree in social work, psychology, counseling, or a related field; licensure or certification as required by state law. Proven experience working with children and adolescents in school-based or clinical settings. Strong knowledge of mental health counseling techniques such as motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral therapy, and trauma-informed care. Familiarity with medical terminology, medical records management, and clinical documentation standards.
