Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Peer Support Supervisor to lead our team of recovery peer support specialists. Responsibilities Supervise and mentor peer support specialists, providing guidance on crisis management, behavioral health interventions, and client communication. Coordinate and oversee peer-led recovery activities, ensuring adherence to best practices in mental health counseling and addiction counseling. Facilitate training sessions on crisis intervention, harm reduction, cultural competence, and confidentiality protocols. Monitor service delivery through documentation in Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems, ensuring compliance with privacy standards and organizational policies. Collaborate with clinical teams to develop individualized recovery plans that incorporate peer support advocacy and social work principles. Promote a trauma-informed approach by sharing personal recovery experiences responsibly and supporting clients through co-occurring disorders. Maintain accurate records of client interactions, progress notes, and incident reports while safeguarding patient confidentiality. Skills Strong expertise in crisis management, crisis intervention, and behavioral health practices. Deep understanding of mental health conditions, substance use disorders, co-occurring disorders, and harm reduction strategies. Proven ability to mentor peers effectively while fostering a supportive team environment. Excellent communication skills tailored to working with culturally diverse communities. Experience in addiction counseling, social work, or related fields with a focus on recovery peer support. Ability to share personal recovery experiences ethically to inspire hope without overstepping boundaries. Proficiency with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems for documentation and client tracking.
