LMHC or LCSW license is required for this position. An applicant with dual license (LCAS) therapist would be preferred but not required. Must possess a current NC license in good standing with no restrictions to practice independently as a professional counselor Candidate must meet eligibility for employment through successful criminal and background checks Must have the ability to be credentialed to receive 3rd party (insurance) reimbursement Position responsibilities: Work with individuals, groups and families to improve mental health Examine issues including depression, anxiety, anger management, trauma issues, relationships, PTSD, spiritual concerns, etc. Help clients define, create and implement goals and gain insight into problematic behaviors Develop therapeutic treatment plans for each client Proficiently document evaluations, session notes and other legal documents as requested by clients or third parties in a timely fashion Candidate must have experience in the following: Knowledge of and appropriate application of counseling theories Knowledge of how to code mental health diagnosis according to the DSM V and ICD 10 Knowledge of individual and group therapy techniques Knowledge of crisis intervention procedures Candidate must have the ability to: Work as a team player Accept direction and adhere to policies and procedures of the company Use effective judgment and maintain confidentiality of information at all times
