Key Responsibilities Mental Health Services:

Provide mental health counseling services to Job Corps students.

Assessments & Planning:

Conduct prompt reviews of applicant files, initial intake assessments, and develop tailored treatment and management plans.

Documentation:

Record diagnoses, treatment plans, and medications in the Student Health Record (SHR) and required Job Corps Health & Wellness forms.

Chronic Care Management:

Participate in chronic care management planning for students with long-term mental health conditions.

Interdisciplinary Collaboration:

Collaborate with the Substance Abuse Counselor (TEAP) on co-occurring conditions, and coordinate with the Center Physician and Health & Wellness Manager regarding long-term medication and Schedule II prescription management.

Committees & Meetings:

Participate in Reasonable Accommodation Committee (RAC) meetings and applicant file review meetings.

Requirements & Qualifications Experience:

Minimum of 2 years of post-licensure clinical practice.

Licensure:

Active, UNRESTRICTED license as a Clinical Psychologist or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), practicing independently in the state of Nebraska. (Other qualifying licenses considered only via Government waiver).

Insurance:

Proof of malpractice insurance coverage.

Background Clearance:

Must pass Department of Labor (DOL) vetting and a standard background check for working with students BEFORE starting on center.

Skills:

Expert in psychological assessment and diagnosis, treatment planning, clinical documentation, adolescent/young adult counseling, and interdisciplinary collaboration. Preferred Qualifications Experience working with at-risk youth populations. Experience in residential or educational settings. Familiarity with Job Corps PRH (Policy and Requirements Handbook) health and wellness requirements.

Pay:

$38.00 - $48.00 per hour
