Requirements Valid licensure as an LMHP, LIMHP, or PLMHP with current certification to practice independently in your state. Proven experience in psychotherapy modalities such as motivational interviewing, social work, clinical counseling, or behavioral health interventions. Strong knowledge of mental health assessments, ICD coding (ICD-9/ICD-10), treatment planning, and clinical documentation standards. Experience working with children, adolescents, individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder (ASD), geriatrics, or those with trauma histories like PTSD. Familiarity with telehealth platforms and delivering services via telehealth therapy is highly preferred. Ability to manage crisis situations effectively while demonstrating excellent communication skills and cultural competence.
