Job summary If you're an experienced addiction treatment therapist who cares about helping people get their lives back from addiction, we have the best place to practice your skills alongside the best support team. We're looking for a Clinician to provide individual, group, and family counseling to clients with substance use disorder and/or co-occurring mental health disorders. This position completes level-of-care assessments for new clients and works collaboratively with the treatment team to ensure the client's treatment goals are being met. What You'll Do Complete biopsychosocial assessments on incoming clients to determine appropriate level of care Facilitate daily groups focused on substance use and mental health Maintain open communication with all members of the treatment team Provide individual counseling for all clients on your caseload Facilitate family counseling sessions Complete clinical documentation within 24 hours Participate in team meetings (daily) and individual and group supervision (weekly) Report to the Clinical Director for all emergencies and/or concerns Complete SUD and mental health treatment plans and reviews for all clients Participate in the family program we offer for clients Submit concurrent reviews to the Utilization Department based on a schedule
Requirements Preferred:
Bachelor's in human services or related field, Masters preferred.
Licensure/Certification:
LADC preferred NH State license or license eligible w/in 12 months. Familiarity with substance use disorders and recovery models. Ability to interact professionally and empathetically with clients. Strong verbal and written communication. Basic computer skills and data entry.
