Overview We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Mental Health-Substance Abuse Group Facilitator (Licensed Substance Counselor or Licensed Professional Counselor) to join our Cherry Hill, NJ team. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact by leading group therapy sessions and supporting clients with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, a passion for client-centered care, and the ability to foster a supportive environment for recovery. Responsibilities Facilitate engaging group therapy sessions focused on mental health and substance abuse recovery, utilizing evidence-based practices such as cognitive behavioral therapy and motivational interviewing. Conduct comprehensive client assessments to develop individualized treatment plans aligned with DSM-5 diagnostic standards. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care, including intake, case management, and discharge planning. Maintain accurate clinical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations and medical documentation standards using Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems. Provide crisis intervention and crisis management when necessary, ensuring client safety and stability during challenging situations. Deliver psychoeducation on topics such as addiction medicine, PTSD care, behavioral health, and co-occurring disorders to clients and their families. Engage in ongoing research and data collection to evaluate treatment effectiveness and improve clinical outcomes. Experience Proven experience working with individuals with substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions in clinical or community settings. Strong background in psychotherapy modalities including behavioral therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and applied behavior analysis (ABA). Demonstrated proficiency in clinical documentation standards, medical terminology, ICD coding (ICD-9/ICD-10), CPT coding, and electronic health records management. Skilled in crisis intervention, crisis management, client assessment in therapy, and case management practices. Experience working with diverse populations from various cultural backgrounds is highly valued. Knowledge of mental health diagnostic evaluation tools such as DSM-5 is essential for accurate client assessment. Familiarity with HIPAA compliance, maintaining patient confidentiality, and working within medical records protocols is required.

Qualifications:
