We have an opening for a Primary Therapist - Part Time Our facility provides exceptional clinical and medical services. Individuals applying should have a passion for helping those who heal from mental health and addictive disorders that can work synergistically with all staff. We offer competitive wages, and a supportive work environment! Job Overview The Group Facilitator will conduct group psychotherapy sessions for our clients. They will help guide and direct clients during group sessions. The Group Facilitator will prepare group and individual notes that support clinical necessity and progress toward treatment plan goals. Minimum Education & Qualifications Master's Degree in Psychology, Mental Health Counseling, Social Work or related field 1+ years substance abuse or related work experience (2+ years preferred) LSW, LAC, LCSW, LPC or LCADC required CPR Certification Knowledge of State and Federal statues regarding patient confidentiality laws (HIPAA) Responsibilities Facilitate group therapy, psychoeducation and skill building groups on a per diem basis Recognize, respond to and assist in psychiatric crisis situations and provide the intervention necessary. Demonstrates good communication and written skills. Performs in a professional manner and role models a positive image. Adheres to Policies and Procedures, JCHAO, DHMAS standards Evaluates the impact of therapeutic interventions upon the therapeutic milieu. Reports abuse of clients' rights immediately. Ability to work as a team member, demonstrating maturity under stress and objectivity. Complete documentation requirements within expected timeframes
