Community Psychiatric Institute, a leader in Behavioral Healthcare and Chemical Dependency treatment for over 53 years in Essex County, has an opening for a Full-time Counselor / Creative Arts Therapist in our Partial Care program. We are seeking a dedicated Mental Health - Creative Arts Counselor to join our dedicated team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for using creative, and recreational arts to support individuals with mental health and/or substance abuse disorders.
Responsibilities include:
 Providing group and individual counseling in our outpatient setting.  Performing timely medical records documentation including weekly progress notes and treatment plans.  Work as a part of our Multidisciplinary Team.  Develop and run Creative and Expressive Arts groups.
Requirements:
Creative or Recreational arts background. Experience working with mental health & substance abuse populations. Bachelor's or Master's degree in mental health/counseling related field.
