The schedule will be onsite Monday - Friday 9 am - 5 pm. Preferred credentials include CADC, LAC, LSW, with mental health experience. The new location is located at 18 Microlab Rd, Livingston, NJ . Aspire Counseling is seeking a compassionate, experienced, and highly motivated Adolescent Counselor to join our dedicated team. This position requires a seasoned clinician with experience working with adolescents in both group and individual settings—particularly within the substance abuse field. The ideal candidate is someone who can work independently while maintaining strong collaborative ties with the team. A friendly, warm, and empathetic demeanor is essential, along with a professional understanding of boundaries, confidentiality, and ethical clinical standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct biopsychosocial assessments and clinical intakes Facilitate therapeutic groups and provide individual counseling sessions Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans Complete documentation thoroughly, accurately, and within designated timeframes Maintain clear and compassionate communication with clients, families, and staff Participate in clinical meetings, supervision, and ongoing trainings Uphold the highest standard of ethical practice and cultural sensitivity Contribute to a supportive and team-focused work environment
Preferred Qualifications :
Minimum of
LAC, LSW, CADC
with mental health experience Experience with adolescents and substance use Strong working knowledge of clinical documentation and treatment planning Reliable, organized, and self-directed, with exceptional follow-through Demonstrated ability to engage youth in a therapeutic setting with kindness and structure For more information about our program, visit our website, aspirecounselingnj.org.
