Consults with nurses, doctors and psychiatrists. May work with specific populations, such as youth, senior citizens or substance abusers, in group settings, facilities or hospitals.

The Licensed Group Counselor provides group psychotherapeutic services under the clinical supervision of an LCSW or LPC, in accordance with current standards of practice, as developed by professional and licensing organizations, and defined and interpreted by the supervisor. This role does not provide clinical hours and is not intended for one-to-one therapy supervision.
Qualifications:
Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
Master's degree in Social Work or other related Mental Health Counseling field. Minimum 1 year relevant experience in a healthcare setting. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficient computer skills that may include but are not limited to Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite platforms.
Licenses and Certifications Required:
NJ Licensed Social Worker or Associate Counselor License.
Licenses and Certifications Preferred:
