Evidence-based practice LAC Full Job Description Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate licensed Group Counselor to lead engaging therapeutic groups within a diverse mental health and behavioral care setting. In this role, you will facilitate evidence-based group therapy sessions, foster a supportive environment for clients, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to promote recovery and well-being. Duties include:

Conducting group counseling sessions. Conducting didactic sessions on addiction and other related issues Document group and didactic sessions in EHR. Performing all reporting and record keeping in accordance with Turning Point policy. Assessing the counseling needs of the clients Providing the substance abuse counseling services specified in the client treatment plan; Responsible for knowing and enforcing Turning Point Policy and Procedures. Lead and facilitate group therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based practices such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), behavioral therapy, and trauma-informed approaches. Attend staff meetings. Performs all other duties as necessary or as assigned by supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS INCLUDE

CADC, LSW, LAC, LCADC Education and relevant experience
