Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Psychologist licensed in to join our team serving senior nursing facilities in the following areas: 1. Whiting, NJ in Manchester Township, NJ 2. Cherry Hill, NJ, 3. South Plainfield, NJ. In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive mental health assessments, therapeutic interventions, and ongoing support to residents in a clinical setting. Your expertise will help improve quality of life, promote emotional well-being, and address complex mental health needs within a multidisciplinary team. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of seniors through evidence-based practices and personalized care. Duties Conduct thorough mental health assessments, including diagnostic evaluations, with PHQ-9s to identify residents' psychological needs. Develop individualized treatment plans incorporating evidence-based therapies such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), trauma-focused therapy, psychodynamic therapy, and behavioral therapy. Provide individual counseling sessions in person and family counseling sessions when requested. Utilize telehealth platforms for remote therapy sessions when/if necessary, ensuring compliance with HIPAA and clinical documentation standards. Implement crisis intervention strategies and manage urgent mental health situations with professionalism and sensitivity. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate case management, medical documentation, and treatment planning aligned with clinical ethical guidelines. Maintain accurate clinical records using EHR systems while adhering to HIPAA regulations and medical terminology standards in a timely fashion. Qualifications Valid NJ licensure as an LPC, LMFT, or Psychologist Proficiency in psychotherapy modalities Strong skills in crisis management, behavior management, grief counseling, and addiction counseling. Familiarity with telehealth therapy platforms and electronic medical records (EMR/EHR). Excellent communication skills for client engagement and interdisciplinary collaboration. Commitment to evidence-based practice standards and maintaining clinical ethical guidelines. $120.00 - $200.00 per hour
