Bilingual Licensed Clinician (Spanish) - School Based Brentwood, NY Part-Time | 30hrs/week, Mon-Fri 1:00PM-7:00
PM Salary:
$61,000-$68,000/yr At Family Residences and Essential Enterprises, Inc. (FREE), we empower over 5,500 people with intellectual/developmental disabilities and mental health challenges to thrive in their communities. FREE provides a diverse array of supports and services including: housing; recovery services; transition to work; employment; day, community and family services; respite; crisis services; education and after school support; specialty health services; and advocacy. We are currently seeking a Bilingual Licensed Clinician (fluent in Spanish) to provide culturally responsive mental health services to students and families in a school-based setting. This part-time role is a great fit for a clinician who wants to make a direct impact in a bilingual community.
What You'll Do:
Provide clinical oversight for students with mental health, substance use, or behavioral conditions Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans, Relapse Prevention Plans, and Support Plans Deliver individual, family, and group counseling in English and Spanish Run therapy groups and provide crisis intervention and daily living support Coordinate care with schools, families, and outside providers; attend CSE meetings as needed Advocate for students' rights, cultural needs, and access to appropriate care Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation
What You'll Need:
Master's degree in a human services field Active licensure as an LMSW, LCSW, or LMHC (candidates without licensure may be considered with an educational agreement) Fluency in Spanish required At least 1 year of experience working with outside treatment providers and mental health professionals Valid NYS driver's license The day-to-day demands of this role require an extreme level of patience and de-escalation that may not align with your personal strengths or current coping strategies.
