East Elmhurst, NY Shift:

Shift 8:00 AM-4:00 PM Key Responsibilities Conduct mental health evaluations, assessments, crisis interventions, and follow-up care. Determine and coordinate appropriate levels of mental health care and patient disposition. Provide treatment and support to individuals with behavioral health needs, substance use histories, and severe mental illness. Coordinate discharge planning with Reentry Social Workers. Required Qualifications Master's degree in social work , Psychology, Mental Health Counseling, or a related field. Current New York State professional licensure in one of the following: Licensed Social Worker / Social Work license Mental Health Counselor license Psychology license. Preferred Experience Experience providing assessment and treatment to adults with behavioral health concerns . Experience working with individuals with substance use histories and/or severe mental illness . Inpatient psychiatric or related clinical experience . Experience conducting crisis intervention and mental health assessments

$48.49 - $58.40 per hour
