As a peer specialist, you will use your own lived experience to inspire hope, provide support, and help others build a path toward wellness.
Responsibilities:
  • Offer peer-to-peer support and mentorship to individuals receiving mental health services
  • Share recovery experiences and model successful coping strategies
  • Help empower clients to set and achieve personal recovery goals
Requirements:
  • Must have a valid Peer Specialist Certification
  • Lived experience with mental health recovery (personal or through a close family member)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Empathy, reliability, and a non-judgmental attitude
