Full-Time or Part-Time Job Summary:
CHE Behavioral, a multispecialty group of licensed professionals dedicated to increasing access to mental health services and reducing the stigma of mental health conditions, is seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) to join our team. As a fully licensed mental health provider, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of older adults and their families. As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with CHE Behavioral, you will work part-time or full-time in a variety of settings, including long-term care and rehabilitation centers. About the
Role:
As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will provide high-quality clinical services to improve the quality of life for our older adult patients.
Your responsibilities will include:
Conducting initial assessments and developing individualized treatment plans Providing individual, group, and family therapy sessions Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care Documenting patient progress and maintaining accurate records Participating in team meetings and staff development activities Staying current with industry developments and best practices
Requirements:
Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, or related field Current licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the State of New York Strong assessment and treatment skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks [Insert optional requirements or qualifications if provided, e.g., "bilingual skills" or "experience with electronic medical records"]
